Triggers are emotional or psychological responses sparked by past experiences, often tied to stress, trauma, or deeply rooted memories. According to the American Psychological Association, triggers can activate intense reactions even when the present moment feels unrelated to the original event. Understanding your triggers is the first step toward reclaiming your power, because when you can identify what moves you, you can begin to manage how you respond. This conversation will help you recognize patterns, build awareness, and discover healthier ways to navigate your emotional landscape.
